Chronicle
The chronicle of the city of Jena was compiled by employees of the city archive. For the events listed up to 1900, evidence from the archive's holdings and literature was used. More recent entries are mainly based on reports in the regional press. The chronicle has been editorially adapted as an internet version and its length has been considerably reduced. The town archive will be happy to provide you with information on the chronicle entries. Any comments, additions or corrections will be gratefully received.
